Morals Are For Suckers

Moral terms, concepts and practices hold you back from realizing your goals

Just ask any recognized leader in our society. Society’s frontmen will tell you that morals and values are what separate us from the lower animals. These same leaders invoke the moral argument when they are caught in “immoral” acts that normally serve to propel them ahead in business and life.

Caligulation for leaders … morals, standards and principles for the rest of us

Leaders use multiple ploys to get the population to adopt and obey moral codes, a highly controlling policy that keeps the population in check. It also ensures the moral members of our population do not compete against those who do not play by the moral rules. Kinda like running the 100-meter dash at the Olympics . . . unchallenged. These same leaders discard all moral codes in favor of an animalistic lifestyle of criminal behavior and caligulation* [My neologism.]

Animals don’t live by morals … they can’t afford to

The “lower” animals that live and survive in the animal kingdom do not know what morals are. They have not been programmed by priests and religious evangelists, commercials and movies. Animals hunt when they’re hungry or need to store food for long dry or cold spells. They eat when they can, and they kill whatever they can at any time and in any fashion that results not only in the death of their prey, but in the successful acquisition of nutrients for sustenance.
The lioness in the bush does not care about honesty, integrity or rectitude.
She cares that you are suitable to eat, will be a relatively easy catch that will not outrun or outfight her, because she is not in the mood to run five miles to chase you down. She cares that a good portion of your carcass will temporarily satisfy her king, the laziest and most demanding member of the troupe. She will not weep for you when you scream in atavistic terror as she bites into your thigh and drags you down to the fertile dirt, her claws catching the delicate skin and muscles on your back and neck. Your cries tell her she is winning, so please cry some more, until your breath is spent or your heart seizes. No thanks will be paid to you for serving yourself up as her meal for the evening. The lioness is not grateful for this feast. She does not thank the gods for it, nor does she bow to them in the hope they will provide more tomorrow. The lioness does not give a damn about you. She does not give a hoot about the gods. When she has eaten your liver, she will not recite Mother Theresa’s Prayer: Deliver me O Jesus From the desire of being loved, From the desire of being extolled, From the desire of being honored, From the desire of being praised, From the desire of being preferred, From the desire of being consulted, From the desire of being approved, From the desire of being popular, From the fear of being humiliated, From the fear of being despised, From the fear of suffering rebukes, From the fear of being calumniated, From the fear of being forgotten, From the fear of being wronged, From the fear of being ridiculed, From the fear of being suspected. Neither will any of the leaders of our society. But they will indeed hold it up as a model of excellence for all moral members of society to strive for. All those suckers.

The gold double-standard

The leaders do whatever they wish and never say thank you for the bounty, and they sure as hell don’t thank you for providing their booty, which is at your expense, of course.
Many of today’s leaders get ahead slowly and surely, passing you and yours when they were still in the cradle, because their parents instilled in them a secret code of deathics: Kill at all costs.
The alternative is to be killed and eaten, which is not an option for them, although they preach it as such for the lower humans, because it encourages “good sport” and “fair play” among the peasants.

The leaders always cheat, and they tell us to obey authority

Always. They do it because their peers do it and the only way to stay ahead is to cheat better, faster and more efficiently. And without getting caught by a scrutinizing public. When our leaders are entangled in some moral issue that rocks the headlines, they weep crocodile tears on national camera, while holding their dutiful wife’s hand and patting the heads of their Stepford Yale- or Harvard-bound children. But they tell the rest of us to play by the rules. Their rules. Abide by their laws. Practice the moral code mandated by highly trained pedophile Jesuit popes, cardinals and archbishops. Listen to your leaders. Your elders. Do not question authority. Not ever, huh-uh. Be born, get a birth certificate and Social Security number that officially brand you their property for life. Go to their schools that teach you how to be a good citizen, play by their rules. Grow up and get a good job, earn a lot of $$$ so you can pay lots of taxes, get a 30-year mortgage, lease an expensive car, and charge it all to your 16 credit cards that produce debt you can never repay because the invisible equation was designed that way. Eat their poisonous food, get diabetes and osteoporosis. Take in 2,000 extra calories each day so you can gain 100 pounds but still look fab in your miniskirt and tube top, in those Instagram bathroom selfies. Pay $500 a month in health insurance so you can see a third-rate doctor who proclaims you healthy “for your age” and prescribes you 13 different pills, one for each ill, then an additional 33 pills to “treating” the side effects from the original 13. Don’t even think of dreaming. That’s for little kids who haven’t started kindergarten. Just mind your own business, watch 5.8 hours of mindless tv each afternoon and evening. Brush your teeth with lots of fluoridated toothpaste, then rinse with copious amounts of fluoridated water, fortified with nutritious heavy metals. Morals are for suckers who think that if they kneel and pray to some god each night, be kind to their spouse, don’t covet their neighbor’s wife, don’t lie or cheat or steal, then they will be rewarded.
In today’s world where morals are advertised as a side effect of weakness and insecurity, our leaders are 100% correct: the reward for adopting morals is a place at the back of the line.
Which line? Pick any one; they stretch all the way to the horizon. In all directions.

It does no good to criticize our amoral leaders for lack of the values we hold dear

That would be like admonishing the lioness for IDing, catching, killing and eating you for dinner: she’s just doing what she was programmed to do, and she doesn’t give a rat’s patoot whether you judge her harshly or blast her on the front page of the Times or Tribune. The plain fact is, having and living by a set of morals and values makes you the underdog in the cutthroat world of business.

So how does a moral person survive in this environment?

Just ask the Israelis. Or Afghans. Or Mexican drug lords.

Be situationally amoral: play like Caligula at work and on those junkets to the Caribbean, but don’t bring it home . . . slay the competition, but don’t harm your spouse or kids . . . do whatever it takes to win in the business world, but don’t cheat your family.

Remember: the lioness is now snoozing under a thorny acacia, digesting your juicy remains. She lives in the now, so does not dream of the future. She is content for the next 48 hours because your 40 pounds of bone-in ribeye, filet mignon and porterhouse were nicely marbled. Her only job is to swat flies . . . until her lion king wakes up and demands she get off her lazy ass and go catch him a cheeseburger. *Caligulation. From the historical figure Caligula who often engaged in devious and violent sexual behavior, and ordered his subjects to follow his lead.
